With over 20 years of experience in financial management in government contracting and nonprofits, Ricardo brings a specialty in scaling organizations, implementing financial software, and improving profitability and cash flow. Before joining PEC, he held key leadership positions at BDO USA, Modern Technology Solutions and Neosystems Corp.

Ricardo is committed to fostering growth at PEC through strong financial performance, leadership, and collaboration, believing that success is driven by putting both customers and employees first.

GINA WILSON

Chief Growth Officer

Gina Wilson is the Chief Growth Officer at Prescient Edge Corporation (PEC), where she leads strategic growth initiative across the defense and intelligence sectors.

Since joining PEC in 2019, Gina has played a pivotal role in securing over $1.1 billion in single-award contracts, expanding PEC’s capabilities and footprint in key markets.

A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, former officer and two-time Olmstead Scholar, Gina brings over 20 years of global defense and intelligence experience, including work with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and having led large-scale domestic and international programs at L3-Harris.

Her leadership is centered on fostering innovation, building mission-driven teams, and delivering impactful, customer-centric solutions that support the nation’s evolving security needs.

DR. DAVID GROGAN

Managing Director of Intelligence & Security

Dr. David Grogan is the Managing Director of Intelligence & Security at Prescient Edge Corporation (PEC) and the President of Edge Analytic Solutions (EAS). Since joining PEC in 2019, David has led the delivery of advanced analytic, operational support, and training solutions to the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community.

David brings decades of leadership experience as a military officer, Defense Intelligence Senior Leader (DISL), and industry executive, where he led successful corporate growth initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, and Joint Ventures. David holds a Doctor of Management degree with a specialization in Post Merger Integration.

With a long-standing passion for mentorship, David is focused on building and empowering a team of experts focused on solving complex national security challenges through innovative solutions and continuing to evolve PEC as a sought-after provider of predictive analytics and innovative intelligence operations solutions.

STEVEN SHPINER

Managing Director of Research, Development & Engineering (RD&E)

Steven Shpiner is the Managing Director for Research, Development & Engineering (RD&E) at Prescient Edge Corporation (PEC), where he holds P&L responsibility to deliver cutting-edge data science and systems integration solutions that support multi-domain national security initiatives at scale.

Since founding PEC in 2009, Steven has applied his background in venture startup finance and technology development to drive innovation in defense technologies. He has held research roles at MIT, Northeastern University, and Harvard Medical School, and currently sits on the Physics Department Industrial Review Board at the University of Massachusetts, Boston.

Steven’s forward-thinking approach is focused on the customer mission and operationalizing new technologies that meet the evolving needs of national security.

BOBBY SUNDERLAND

Chief Integration Officer (CIO)

Bobby Sunderland is the Chief Integration Officer (CIO) at Prescient Edge Corporation (PEC), where he leads the C5ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) activities. He oversees a team of engineers, software developers, and cybersecurity experts dedicated to advancing mission-critical capabilities.

With decades of experience as a systems integrator for the Department of Defense (DOD) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Bobby has developed a deep understanding of complex technological frameworks and operational requirements.

Throughout his military and civilian career, Bobby has focused on integrating advanced systems to enhance mission effectiveness and ensure security objectives are met. His expertise in systems engineering, project management, and cross-agency coordination has enabled him to lead diverse teams and deliver innovative solutions to national security challenges.

JENNIFER NICKOLAS

General Counsel & Director of Contracts

Jennifer Nickolas is General Counsel & Director of Contracts at Prescient Edge Corporation (PEC), where she brings an entrepreneurial approach to legal leadership, navigating the complex world of government contracting since joining PEC in 2020. She offers a unique ability to align legal guidance with business goals, making her a trusted advisor in strategic planning and day-to-day operations.

Jennifer oversees the legal and contracts teams to ensure regulatory compliance complements business objectives to secure rapid contract capabilities and growth. With over 15 years of government contracting experience, Jennifer is known for finding practical solutions that minimize risk while driving business success.

She is an active board member of the Minnesota State University Women in Leadership Program, where she mentors the next generation of female leaders. Jennifer’s leadership style emphasizes clear communication, practical results, and a strong focus on professional development.

KALANI COTNER

Managing Director & Chief Security Officer

Kalani Cotner is a Managing Director & the Chief Security Officer at Prescient Edge Corporation (PEC), where he leads the security team in managing compliance and ensuring the company’s operational integrity as it grows.

A former Army and Air Force Intelligence Officer, Kalani has been a part of PEC’s growth since 2010, offering his extensive experience to guide the company through new and evolving security challenges in the defense contracting space while remaining compliant and ensuring mission continuity.

His leadership philosophy is rooted in consistency, mutual accountability, and transparent communication, which have been key to managing PEC’s security operations. Kalani is energized by the constant evolution of the security landscape and the new challenges that accompany PEC’s continued growth.
